Been wanting to get into hot sauce more, how’d I do? Any recommendations for other great options?

How’s your spice tolerance? Because that Tabasco you got is not for the weak it’s extremely spicy

  2. Fuzzy_Welcome8348

I think these r great to start off with

  3. Queen Majesty is great! I also really love Sauce Leopard, for a variety of heat and flavors. Also special shout out to Cry Baby Greg’s, my go to.

    You done good.

Advise you add Marie Sharps (any heat level)

Nope just Tabasco Scorpion. You’ve hit the peak. (Just kidding, although I love it)

I’ve gotten in the habit of grabbing a few bottles from local producers at farmers markets and the like. I got a cherry bomb pepper sauce in Ohio that was not particularly spicy, but SO flavorful. Went through it in a week or two just from putting it on everything.

Now I’m back to just having Scorpion and a homemade ghost chili sauce… I need to restock…

That Aardvark and Queen Majesty are both in my top few favorites still 👍🏻

I like El Yucateco Habanero. Its the black one with a black label

  8. BuoyantEntropy

Huichol is a great mexican style that is worth trying

OG Tabasco is an essential, I dismissed it for a long time but it is great and super versatile, often the perfect hot sauce

Also highly recommend making your own fermented hot sauce, it’s ridiculously easy just takes some time to ferment

Diving into what is available from local providers, at farmers markets can yield great finds

Try some Belizean Heat! Delicious, spicy, economical.

The Grundle Thumper is good stuff. You in Colorado?

The group won’t let me upload a pic but google “Professor Phardtpounders Colon Cleanser”
My other half got me a bottle for Xmas as a stocking stuffer gag gift and it’s actually turned out to be my new favorite hot sauce. It’s habanero based and has the best damn flavor with a decent kick. Can’t get enough of it! 🙂

    Great lineup there.

Other suggestions: Bravado Aka Miso, Torchbearer Garlic Reaper, Pepper Palace Ghostly Garlic, Marie Sharp’s Fiery Hot Habanero, El Yucateco XXXtra Hot, Oak City Reaper Madness

Had a Belizean friend introduce me to Marie Sharp’s. It smacks, I recommend for sure.

I also like Dave’s Gourmet insanity sauce for soups, stews, and ramen. The capsaicin extract one. Tastes like shit on its own, but a few drops into a bowl will make it spicy af without impacting the flavor.

  21. Hopalicious

Heartbeat hot sauce pineapple habanero is amazing. It’s worth a purchase

  22. doodoo_pie

Love secret aardvark, great tomato flavor and heat.

  23. itsalegacy

Iguana Radioactive is hands down my favorite sauce. Hot enough, kinda salty. Goes so well with so many things.

  24. UpperSupport9

Paulman acre, j’s small batch, ring of fire, mago. All have very different flavor. Paulman acre is prob my fav!

  25. Bourrrrrrbon

Grundle Thumper and the Queen’s Majesty are a couple of my favorites

  26. RadicalChile

Anything by Marie Sharp is great. Blairs is great (if you can get it). Melinda’s “fire roasted garlic and habanero” and Melinda’s Ghost pepper.

  27. 2-10VoltJesus

Try Cry Baby Craig’s! It’s my favorite!

  28. nerdyvintageco

I love that Queen Majesty. Despite how mass market it is, i think the Green El Yucateco habanero hot sauce is my favorite sauce of all time.

  29. toocoolzforschool

Go for the Dave’s Gourmet Ghost Pepper sauce it’s a staple for me

  30. Elijah’s: Xtreme Regret, Xtreme Regret Reserve

Torchbearer: Garlic Reaper, Plum Reaper, Rapture

    Howler Monkey: All flavors

    Marie Sharp’s: Red Hornet, Beware

    Green Belly

    Sauce Leopard: Homegrown Hell

  31. spacen00dle

I got the Costco two pack of aardvark and it’s taking forever to get rid of. Not a fan.

  32. BigLoveForNoodles

I am low key obsessed with that Queen Majesty. I generally don’t like sauces that involve coffee, but that stuff is amazing.

  33. FunkleSam1776

Howler Monkey Original is my latest go-to. I got it as a stocking stuffer and went through it in a couple weeks!

  34. WHITEMERLOT69

It’s not the spiciest but this is up there in flavor for me: Nandos garlic peri peri

  35. Fishtails

I’m curious to try the one that comes in a gallon jar.
