Been wanting to get into hot sauce more, how’d I do? Any recommendations for other great options?

How’s your spice tolerance? Because that Tabasco you got is not for the weak it’s extremely spicy

I think these r great to start off with

Queen Majesty is great! I also really love Sauce Leopard, for a variety of heat and flavors. Also special shout out to Cry Baby Greg’s, my go to.

You done good.
Advise you add Marie Sharps (any heat level)

Nope just Tabasco Scorpion. You’ve hit the peak. (Just kidding, although I love it)
I’ve gotten in the habit of grabbing a few bottles from local producers at farmers markets and the like. I got a cherry bomb pepper sauce in Ohio that was not particularly spicy, but SO flavorful. Went through it in a week or two just from putting it on everything.
Now I’m back to just having Scorpion and a homemade ghost chili sauce… I need to restock…

BuoyantEntropy
Huichol is a great mexican style that is worth trying
OG Tabasco is an essential, I dismissed it for a long time but it is great and super versatile, often the perfect hot sauce
Also highly recommend making your own fermented hot sauce, it’s ridiculously easy just takes some time to ferment
Diving into what is available from local providers, at farmers markets can yield great finds

My other half got me a bottle for Xmas as a stocking stuffer gag gift and it’s actually turned out to be my new favorite hot sauce. It’s habanero based and has the best damn flavor with a decent kick. Can’t get enough of it! 🙂

[Saint Paul Spice Company](https://saintpaulspicecompany.com/) is a favorite newcomer! They’ve been selling local in MN for years but just opened their online store.

Had a Belizean friend introduce me to Marie Sharp’s. It smacks, I recommend for sure.
I also like Dave’s Gourmet insanity sauce for soups, stews, and ramen. The capsaicin extract one. Tastes like shit on its own, but a few drops into a bowl will make it spicy af without impacting the flavor.

Heartbeat hot sauce pineapple habanero is amazing. It’s worth a purchase

I love that Queen Majesty. Despite how mass market it is, i think the Green El Yucateco habanero hot sauce is my favorite sauce of all time.

I am low key obsessed with that Queen Majesty. I generally don’t like sauces that involve coffee, but that stuff is amazing.
