I was at work and randomly thought how good a double chocolate chunk muffin sounded. And I thought alas, I cannot bake muffins for only myself. And none of the grocery stores around me sell individual muffins. And a gas station Otis Spunkmeyer will not suffice. So, no muffin for me.

And then I got off work. And I accidentally researched a "smaller batch" muffin recipe. Accidentally drove to the store for chocolate chunks. Accidentally mixed up a batch and made them. And accidentally created some extra joy for my weekend.

I would like one to “accidentally” fall into my mouth. 😆 Looks good!

Now you have to get rid of the evidence of this unfortunate series of accidents.

    I’m sorry I don’t buy it. I’m charging you with first-degree muffin.

You sound very accident prone. You should look into that because you don’t want to get hurt.

Maybe the real accidents were the friends we ate along the way

You know you can always freeze your muffins so that you can avoid any small batch accidents in the future 😁 but then they might accidentally fall out of the freezer into the microwave for about a minute and then accidentally fall into your mouth whenever you want 🤔 sounds dangerous all around, better call the muffin man on dreary lane for help

I made a full batch of muffins, but waited for them to completely cool and then wrapped them in cling film and froze them! i pull them out of the freezer one at a time and let them thaw 60-90 mins before eating! then u have many muffins for dayssss 🙂

    Happy accidents.😁

    You did a great job.

P.S. small batch desserts are amazing. Just enough to satisfy but not enough to overindulge. I love making small batch cookies.

Those lines are so cute! Where did you get them from?

With small batch goods such as these, it is *extremely* important that you cool them on the ledge of an open first-floor window. Thanks

If you’re on Instagram (probably other social medias, too), you should check out kathleenscravings; she has a whole series of single serve recipes for everything from cookies to cake to cornbread. Broma Bakery also has some single serve recipes for anyone who needs that information… 😉😉
