I had a wooden handle break on my 30 y/o marble rolling pin. I was able to replace the handles, but the metal rod that runs through the rolling pin wobbles around when I use it. I believe it came with a plastic donut-looking plug that kept the metal rod in place. Any idea where I can get a replacement? I’m not even sure what to call the missing pieces, lol! plastic sizers? Stoppers? I’d hate to toss the rolling pin, but I don’t want marble dust rubbing off and getting in my dough. What do I buy?

Can you find a rubber bottle stopper. DYI by trimming circumference to fit rolling pin and drill hole in center to accept rod.

Honestly? Ditch the handles and use it as a French rolling pin. I don’t use my handles. You have more control.
