Pasta with canned tuna, tomatoes, white wine, capers

    Full ingredients list: canned tuna, cherry tomatoes, garlic, onion, tomato paste, anchovies, capers, minced olives (I used castelvetrano because that’s what was in the fridge), chili flakes, pecorino Romano, lemon, tarragon, parsley, olive oil & butter, small splash of balsamic vinegar. Oh and of course a lot of Sauvignon blanc!

    Tuna pasta with tomatoes and capers is one of those weeknight meals that tastes way more sophisticated than the effort it takes. The white wine in there adds a nice acidity that balances out the brininess of the capers and tuna really well. This is basically a pantry staple meal that looks restaurant quality. Did you use oil-packed or water-packed tuna for this one?
