Just cooked tonight. I browned the mild Italian sausage and mushroom, added spices, crushed tomatoes, heavy whipping cream, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, dry pasta (no need to boil). And then oven baked. I’ve cooked this so many times. It’s a favourite ❤️😋

No boil baked ziti sounds like cheating but works every time. The dry pasta absorbs liquid from crushed tomatoes and cream as it bakes. Mushrooms with the sausage is a great move. How long does it go in the oven?
Recipe is here. Bake longer uncovered if you want the cheese to be toasted. Also before serving, let it stand uncovered for another 15 mins outside the oven
