A smaller plate and less nonsense… it’s spelled ganache btw

Put some Angelica for garnish and we back in the 80s!

Strip it back.
Throw too many garnishes at a thing and it starts to look like you’re trying to polish a turd.
Remove everything from the plate other than the cake with the strawberry topping. Remove the pointless flower on top too. Nobody is impressed by micro garnishes any more.
Be brave and trust the food.

Doesn’t look like a ganache tbh.
Loose all the dots on the plate. If you want to keep the strawberry dusting, I’d do a single shake over half of the cake, and set the other half of the cake over the coulis.
I don’t see any need for ganache/ chocolate-strawberry sauce tbh. You’re not adding flavour.
Also ditch the mint and flower

Where do people learn to plate like this in 2026?
And that’s not a ganache, by the way.

The edges should be super sharp and clean. Get all that tat off the plate. A simple and smaller white plate and just the cake.
