🧀 Cheese Bakery Pide Recipe
A nostalgic favorite once found in every Turkish bakery — now baked fresh in your own kitchen!
Ingredients (Professional Measurements)
• 500 g flour
• 300 g water
• 50 g sunflower oil
• 15 g salt
• 30 g sugar
• 25 g fresh yeast
Filling
• 300–400 g white cheese (feta or similar)
• 1 tablespoon flour
• A little chopped parsley

Home Measurements (Makes about 9 pieces)
• 4 cups flour
• 1 cup + 2 tablespoons lukewarm water
• 4 tablespoons sunflower oil
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• ½ cube (about 20–25 g) fresh yeast
Filling:
• 1½–2 cups white cheese
• 1 tablespoon flour
• 1 handful chopped parsley

Preparation
1. Combine all dough ingredients in a mixing bowl.
2. Knead until you get a soft, slightly sticky dough.
3. Lightly oil the countertop, place the dough on it, and divide into 100 g portions.
4. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
5. Roll each piece, add the cheese filling in the center, and shape into pide forms as shown in the video.
6. Place on a baking tray and let proof for another 15 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 75°C (165°F) and let the pides rise for 10–15 minutes inside.
8. Then increase the oven temperature to 160°C (320°F) and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden.
9. Let them cool slightly and enjoy — crispy on the outside, soft and delicious inside 😍
