Need some help. This is the only picture I have of the wine that my wife and I drank at our wedding in July of 2002. I purchased it at the airport in Rome on 1 July 2002. Can anyone help me identify this wine? Our 25th anniversary is next year and we want to have the wine for our 25th.

I remember that is was around a 2000 vintage.
Perhaps the label says „Barolo“?- that wont get you far, but it is s starting point.
That’s a tough one. I’m positive it is a Barolo, probably mid-90s vintage as you bought it in an airport shop. A Bruno Giacosa, perhaps?
It’s a *squints* Frolo. Definitely. 100%.
You’re going to have to google “2000 barolo” and “2001 barolo” and scroll through the image and shopping results on google. Nothing else is legible sadly
Maybe try google image search on the label.

Late 1990’s Tenuta Carretta Barolo Vigneti in Cannubi?

1998 Tenuta Caretta Barolo Cannubi
Just to say, I know it looks like it says Barolo, but almost all Barolo labels have “Barolo” centered in the middle. The “olo” on this label looks too far right to be “Barolo” centered.
