I could never image being in Japan and wasting ANY time eating dogshit like Kura lol.

Kura sushi is horrible, might i recommend Hama sushi and Sushiro? I’ve been to all three and kura was the only one that was genuinely terrible. Not fresh ingredients at allllll

So is Kura like a tourist trap or something? Or is it just really poor ingredients? (From obersvation alone the tuna looks pretty sad, a lot of the salmon seems to be poorly cut, there is way too high a proportion of natto in that natto roll (also barf natto, but besides the point), and last but not least the front roll looks down right disgusting. Like I’m not saying the fish (if it’s that?) is necessarily disgusting (albeit done right, which I’m assuming it’s not), but it legit looks the vegan cream cheese from the Epstein files)

I live in Japan, Kura is def the lowest quality sushi restaurant in the entire country. It’s just popular because it’s fractionally cheaper than other cheap places like Sushiro.

I’ll never turn up my nose at Kura

Not the best Nippon has to offer, but cheap and cheerful and still better than the sushi in many parts of the world

Sushiro is still the best in my opinion🙏

  7. plenty of other conveyor belt sushi places with generous fish portions all around Tokyo. Shibuya is fairly populated and that place is a freaking maze.

Kura? Like the ones we have here in Los Angeles area too? The conveyor belt is fun but yeah the sushi jsnt all that good. I live in Arcadia and there are soooo many good spots.
