A very nice approximately $350 retail white. Never had it but have heard it’s solid.

Congratulations! A very nice prize!
Does a wind dinner involve baked beans? 😅Sorry I couldn’t resist…

Patrimony (Daou) is some of the best coming out of Paso! Enjoy!

Just attended a Patrimony luncheon about a month and a half ago. This is drinking well but not worth wholesale/retail price. Drinks like a riper white Bordeaux . They said it was mainly supposed to be a winery exclusive but mentioned that if we wanted it for wine dinners they’d make it happen. Definitely a score as a freebie! Haven’t gotten to try the Daou Port. How was it? Which vintage of Cab. Sauv.? We got a ‘20/‘21/‘22 vertical and the ‘21 was a step behind the other two. Needs some time for the green notes to round out if they ever do. ‘19 Cab Franc wasn’t on the same level the one time I got to try it. ‘20 Caves de Lions is out drinking all of the above.

Was my second favorite wine when we were at the winery for a supplier trip to Paso. Can’t complain about any of their higher end offerings at all! Nice win!

Decent wine, but it won’t pay off a college debt if you keep it for a few years.
