First time making sushi. I used yellowfin tuna and Faroe Island salmon. It doesn’t look the best, but we thought it tasted like it was from a restaurant. We’re hooked. These are pics from the past two days.

these look better than some restaurants I’ve been to & I live in Los Angeles. GOOD JOB!

Here are some details about the rolls:

    * Left: Tuna, imitation crab, cucumber, avocado
    * Middle: Tuna, imitation crab, cucumber, avocado, jalapeño, spicy sauce, and sushi sauce (both from the Publix sushi counter)
    * Right: Salmon, cucumber, avocado, eel sauce

The wasabi I used was S&B Neri Wasabi Paste… holy cow, it was crazy hot. I can usually handle a ball of wasabi, but this stuff made it hard to breathe when it hit the right spot in my mouth. I also bought cream cheese for the rolls but forgot to use it. Next time.
