What an incredibly cliche and boring wine pairing.

When money doesn’t matter and you need to appeal to the broadest set of people this is the right move. Looks like a delicious meal!

Didn’t expect Rory to drop anything more than this. Both the food and the wine look decent but expected.

The food reminds me of wedding menu. Love the wine choices, though. Can’t imagine how many players don’t even realize what they’re drinking when they slug back a glass of Lafite.

You can’t trust an Irishman’s Filet Mignon.

Great selection. Very low risk but bangers all of them.

  6. The Salon and Leflaive are BABIES. 🤦‍♂️

These are not wines in my socioeconomic band, but the champagne seems young and the Batard seems very young, right?

The pretentiousness of this subreddit is hilarious. If they aren’t serving Lambrusco with every course this place is pissed.

I don’t know about the capsaicin in the “creamy spicy sauce” or the “hot honey” pairing with the champagne.

“Actually, do you have any orange wines??”

For the non golf fans… after winning the Masters, Shane Lowry his great friend, convinced the Augusta staff to release a case of wine from their library for a celebration at Rory’s place that evening. Lowry said he would pay whatever they wanted. While unusual, Augusta pulled a case out of their library. It was the 1990 Lafite Rothschild.

Maybe this is “leftovers” from that case or he’s just gonna have a fun story to tell the rest of the guys. Kinda like Scottie serving Ravioli. It’s funny.

The food is boring It’s still just a country club catering menu. Fancier ingredients but the same general crap you get at your cousins wedding. The wine selections are pretty fancy though. The last time I had that 90 Lafite it was amazing. Def one of my lifetime favorites.
