  1. Basic stuff when you're a newbie hotel cook, making thousands of them for thousands of guests 😅

  2. Just a social media fad. Its hard because its supposed to be something hyper specific and that thing is the way it looks for two moments for instagram reels and not good food

  3. My approach to Omurice is "Who cares, actually?" and then I make an omlette in the pan that has exactly the size of the bowl that I'll be putting the tomato rice into.

  4. Don’t underestimate an “overcooked” egg! At least where I live we use eggs straight from the hen’s nest, so I cook them well (and I can’t really find any pasteurised egg so I can’t make homemade mayonnaise 😢)

But I also come from a brisket beef and pulled pork family, so…

  5. Sick of these flashy gooey undercooked omuraisu when the regular one tastes so much better

  6. You say "overcook" but it's better than the undercooked salmonella meal you see most of the time

  7. Uhhhh please don’t feed eggs to your dog… she might get confused and start laying eggs herself. Don’t make me call the ASPCA❤
