Went into Costco today for coffee beans, spotted a pallet of these: $12.99 for 40 pounds. Hopper was empty so tonight’s cook will be all Kirkland; we’ll see. More to come!

    These are the last pellets I will use. The moisture content is high, they crumble easily. The flavor profile is meh, with a blend of so many woods it doesn’t taste like anything. They’re fine for higher temp cooking where there’s little smoke produced anyway, but I don’t smoke with them.

    these are the only pellets ive used. i have seen reports that they are ashy but isnt that a good thing? it means theyre making smoke…? what would you guys recommend as an alternative?
