Why don’t people mix their sauce and noodles? The pasta looks… wet, and not integrated at all with the sauce

How long did you cook it down for? I normally do mine in the oven for about 4 hours low and slow, but find that my sausages in the sauce tend to lose flavor after that long, ha.
