🧂 Ingredients
For the Fish:
4–6 catfish fillets
1 cup Buttermilk
2 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp hot sauce (optional but 🔥)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper

Seasoned Coating:
1 cup yellow cornmeal
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Chicken Bouillon
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
1 tsp Island Everything blend
½ tsp black pepper
1/2 cayenne pepper

For Frying:
Vegetable oil (for deep frying)

🍋 Classic Southern Tartar Sauce
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp finely chopped pickles or relish
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional but elevates it 👌)
1 tsp capers
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Black pepper to taste
Pinch of salt
Cayenne pepper

I have not had no fried food and I don’t know how long cause I don’t eat fry food at all.
