It came out too 'flat' and a little bland, and i think i left it in a bit too long cause the crust was kinda hard, but it was warm, it was simple, and by golly, it was bread

I did a '2 hour proof' recipe for this one, and I plan to make a second one doing the 11 hour one using a smaller bowl/pan to maybe get the loaf thicker, can post it too when it's done

Did you enjoy it? If you did, who cares about the rest. Welcome to the world of bread! I’m a noob as well but it’s quite fun to taste and learn

Now you know to make 2 batches, one to test quality right out of the oven, and the second when its slightly cooler so you dont need to do the hafuhfuhfah dragon breath.

I love making no knead bread! Easy and even overnight in the refrigerator, because I am too lazy to try sourdough. It makes a good cast iron foccaccia pizza!

Ah yes. No-nead bread. The gateway bread to a serious baking addiction. It’s a slippery slope, my friend. Soon you’ll be dabbling in other recipes… nothing too complicated at first. A focaccia here, an easy loaf of whole wheat for sandwiches there…

And before you know it, you’re weighing ingredients… preparing sponges & retarding (figuratively?) overnight…

Then one morning you wake up from another gluten-induced bender, and you remember the order you placed last night for a brand new kitchen aide… with attachments.

For reals tho, welcome to the club!!
    I hope you keep baking 🍞 ❤️
