Pasta lovers are getting a new way to bring one of Los Angeles’ most beloved Italian kitchens into their homes. Pasta Sisters, the family-run restaurant known for scratch-made pasta and heirloom recipes, is rolling out its handcrafted pastas and sauces at Gelson’s markets across Southern California. A dozen stores already have products in the freezer aisle, with more locations joining in the coming weeks. Select items are also debuting at Claro’s Italian Markets.
“Sharing our family’s recipes beyond our restaurants is something we’ve dreamed about,” said CEO Francesco Sinatra. “Partnering with Gelson’s and Claro’s lets us reach local families who care about quality as much as we do.”
Shoppers will find a curated lineup including spaghetti, tagliatelle, tortellini, meat lasagna layered with house made components, and the brand’s nine-hour bolognese. Claro’s locations will also offer tortellini and potato-forward gnocchi. Prices range from $9.95 to $14.95 for 12- to 16-ounce packages.

Every product follows the methods that made Pasta Sisters a destination including daily hand-cut pasta, “00” Italian flour sourced from the Petra Molino Quaglia mill, traditional slow-simmered sauces, and flash-freezing to lock in the texture of fresh pasta.
Founded in 2015 by matriarch Paola Da Re and her children, Pasta Sisters has grown from a tiny Mid-City counter to multiple locations across LA and Orange County. The retail expansion marks the family’s latest step in sharing its culinary heritage with a wider audience.
“With these new offerings, people can easily create restaurant-quality Italian meals at home,” said Creative Director Giorgia Sinatra. “It’s an invitation to cook, gather, and make the dish your own.”
Pasta Sisters products are now available in Gelson’s stores from Santa Barbara to San Diego, with full rollout coming soon.
