What has happened to you, Mort Goldman

I don’t say this as an insult in any way, but he could be in the spectrum. I know some individuals hyper fixate on certain foods, colors, etc. someone who knows/understand more might chime in.

I eat about a can of black olive a week, the lower sodium ones.

Delicious, buttery, and also really good for you

Not the whole can in one sitting though, and not as a meal… like 5 or 6 here and there for snacks in between meals to hold me over

  4. Libprime

Don’t let him do that too often, that’s a fuckload of sodium!

  5. SGTSHOOTnMISS

That sounds pretty appetizing right now. I wouldn’t condone it, but I did just eat a jar of olives stuffed with habaneros in one sitting.

I used to be weird and eat stuff like that. One day he’ll be a boring adult and tell his wife how he used to eat a bowl of olives as a kid.

I lived a while and worked at a grocery store and seen I would say at least 100 people and survey says no one has ever said I’m gonna crack open a can of olives for dinner tonight.

  8. RealLuxTempo

I used to eat olives for dinner. But they were part of a martini or two.

  9. DrowningPickle

My kid ate a 2L jar of pickles and one of olives every weekend for years.
    Just for your info lol

Not stupid. I’d agree this can be dinner.

He loves salt! Probably won’t end well, but my Aunt used to put salt on salted food and she lived into her 80’s.

My brother-in-law once ate a whole can of mushrooms because he couldn’t wait for my sister to come home and make dinner.

I demolish a can of olives. Green or black. Pitted or sliced. Little cheese stick on the side maybe. It’s so good

  14. freakingusernamedood

I can understand this. Love me some freaking olives.

This is what happens when you grow up on unseasoned bland food

  17. My kids can eat a can thry love them also I could snack on them as well. But not just for a meal. I need other stuff as well

The sodium can be crazy high in canned olives.. just fyi. But Ive done this before. I’ll take cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, and a bit of feta with a little aged balsamic vinegar and just eat that. But I’m no stranger to eating just a bowl of olives.. I work from home and I’m lazy, and those little quarter size cans of black pitted olives are a super snack, imo.

Se inizio a mangiarle non smetto finché non sono finite,o finché non ce ne stanno più🤷🏻‍♂️

I mean they are in a bowl. Straight out of the can with your fingers is the move

  21. wolfpackalchemy

I used to do this with sardines, good olives, or various other brined foods. Teach him to cook, a good puttanesca will be exactly his speed

  22. Eomerperrin1356

I’ve eaten an entire can of olives in one sitting on more than one occasion. It’s hard to stop once I start.

  23. BattleCatManic

What’s wrong with olives tho I like olives

  24. ibetucanifican

Needs milk on them like it’s cereal…

Apparently when I was a kid I was obsessed with Olives, so much so that when we went out for pizza I just ordered a bowl of olives. The irony is that I don’t remember this, and for as long as *I* can recall I’ve never liked them, any variety.
