NORWALK, CT — Popular French bakery chain Paris Baguette is planning to open a new location in Norwalk later this year, according to the company.

In an email to Patch, Director of Franchise Development Krystie Keith confirmed a new Norwalk location is currently in the design stage and on track to open by the end of the year.

According to Keith, the Norwalk location is over 3,300 square feet and will be located on Connecticut Avenue.

“The Norwalk community can expect to find a new neighborhood bakery cafe,” Keith said, “bringing expertly crafted baked and brewed goods to our guest through a warm and welcoming bakery cafe experience that delivers joy to everyone!”

Paris Baguette specializes in cakes and other pastries, but also serves wraps, sandwiches and salads.

The global chain currently has a location in West Hartford, and is also planning to open stores in Fairfield and Cheshire.

The chain, which originated in South Korea, has thousands of locations in that country, and nearly 300 stores in North America.
