A new family-owned Eastern Mediterranean restaurant opened in last month in Morristown.

Lyla Mediterranean restaurant at 10 Lafayette Ave. serves a range of dishes from hummus to branzino, with options including lamb chops, filet mignon kebabs, and sausage-stuffed pita.

“Lyla was built on the cornerstone of family history and a deep love for quality-driven food,” according to the website.

The Lebanese-style menu is inspired by traditional dishes from the Eastern Mediterranean.

Menu items include the beet salad, falafel, and kibbeh, according to the restaurant’s online ordering list.

The restaurant owners recommend their tower of mini manakish, a double-tiered miniature bread sampler.

The restaurant is open noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Reservations are available on Open Table and the restaurant’s full menu is online.

They’re also offering catering and food delivery.
