Ruby Rodeo announces opening dates, will offer cocktails, live music
Live music venue and bar Ruby Rodeo will launch in downtown Denton with a soft opening April 3, co-owner Mike Church said. Ruby Rodeo will offer cocktails and light bites such as flatbreads and chicken wings. The venue will also host live music.
1902 to bring new downtown restaurant to Prosper
The new concept will include a full commercial kitchen and two floors of seating space. It will include American fares on its menu with steaks, housemade pasta and desserts. The restaurant will take over the Prosper Wine House location, which closed in 2024.

Pepper Lunch brings 500-degree hot plate concept to Frisco
The Japanese fast-casual restaurant features a do-it-yourself teppanyaki concept with meals served on 500-degree Fahrenheit hot plates, allowing customers to cook their food to their preference at the table. The menu offers pepper rice dishes, teriyaki options, steaks, seafood, curry, and vegetarian options.
Hoochies reopens after four-month renovation
After a four-month renovation, Seafood restaurant Hoochies reopened with a soft opening March 30, according to a company social media post. The downtown Denton establishment closed in mid-November for renovations, owner Amy Hawkins said. The renovations include new floors, new seating and a full bar.
Golden Glaze Donuts offers sweet treats in Grapevine
Golden Glaze Donuts has opened its sixth Dallas-Fort Worth area location in Grapevine. The business offers made-from-scratch doughnuts, with the tagline, “golden, glazed and gone by noon,” according to its website. The menu offers glazed doughnuts and a variety of other flavors, as well as croissant sandwiches, kolaches, apple fritters and cinnamon rolls.
