That crust color is absolute perfection. Amazing job. And hey, even if it is all downhill from here, at least you have this masterpiece to eat today…

Love the plaiting. Can you share how that was done?

So pretty! Love how you made that sesame portion.

That’s a really pretty Challah for a first attempt! The sesame distribution is even and the braid is tight. Nice work!

Did it bake fully through? It’s so thick (and luscious)

I will try my Challah too hope I will succeed it.

Love the precision and the decorative aspect. If you want less separation, proof it longer after shaping. You really push challah ro the edge and it should jiggle. But I would be happy with this result even if it was my 100th time. Fantastic!

I just took a closer look and the shine on the dough is magnificent. That’s when hydration and flour. Combine the perfection beautiful good dough.

Oh I made some just a few hours ago! One normal and the other a circle one that I put some chocolate chips in cuz my bf’s birthday is this weekend and wanted to make a special one. It turned out really well! Mini morsels and just a handful or 2 rolled into the dough before cutting and braiding.
