Sharing a recent collab (yesterday) from Bar Sawa x Maison Kanatha, was $225 per person. Menu is last pic. 15 courses total and the end was essentially AYCE truffle cheesecake until there was none left (everyone tapped out and one guy took the rest home to “share with neighbors”). It was a pretty good experience as I really enjoy Maison Kanatha, being one of the more unique tasting menus offered in LA. Bar Sawa’s sushi was more on the contemporary side (cherry wood smoked hamachi with apple ponzu) of traditional edomae (they still age fish in house), which went well with Maison Kanatha’s Thai-French-Japanese style. Quite honestly a breath of fresh air as I was getting tired of the same old offerings of LA fine dining scene.
