Key Takeaways
Domino’s has launched its first-ever pizza dip, designed specifically to be enjoyed with its pizzas.
From now until June 14, anyone who orders a Handmade Pan or Parmesan Stuffed Crust Pizza online or through the Domino’s app can try the dip for free.
One thing I love about eating pizza is dipping it into different sauces for added flavor. While some people enjoy ranch dressing, marinara, or hot sauce, I prefer a garlic sauce—specifically the Special Garlic Sauce from Papa Johns. Rich and savory, it takes an ordinary slice of pepperoni to the next level. Then there’s Pizza Hut’s lineup of dips, which includes funky blue cheese and Honey BBQ.
One chain that hasn’t gotten on the pizza dip train? Domino’s. At least until now. For the first time in the chain’s 66-year history, Domino’s is launching an all-new pizza dip.
Domino’s Debuts New Slice Sauce
Domino’s is known for its crusty slices, layered with sweet-and-tangy tomato sauce and gooey melty cheese—a satisfying fix for any pizza craving. And now, the restaurant is raising the bar with the debut of its first-ever signature sauce crafted for pizza: Slice Sauce.
The creamy, zesty sauce is made with a touch of Parmesan and designed to elevate every bite of pizza, though I have a feeling it’ll add a burst of flavor to other items such as Domino’s Garlic Bread Bites or Parmesan Bread Bites, too.
When Domino’s shared the new menu item on Instagram, fans didn’t waste a second flooding the comments with excitement. “Fine, we’ll order Domino’s for work lunch today,” one fan teased.
“This looks so good,” shared another fan, while one person cheered, “Yeah, I’m ordering this ASAP! I didn’t think the pan pizza could get any better, but it turns out I might be wrong!”
To celebrate the new menu item, Domino’s is giving away a free serving of Slice Sauce with every online or in-app order for a Handmade Pan or Parmesan Stuffed Crust Pizza from now until June 14.
I don’t know about you, but I’m ordering a pan pizza this weekend so I can try the new sauce and see how it stacks up against Papa Johns.
