This year, Jamie’s Italian celebrates its 10th anniversary in Budapest. For a decade, the restaurant has been a steady presence in Buda Castle – a place you arrive at with intention, but often end up staying longer than planned. To mark the occasion, the restaurant is launching a large-scale giveaway running from 1 April to 22 May, one that’s well worth paying attention to.
Simple, honest Italian dishes, quality ingredients, and a relaxed yet attentive approach to hospitality – these are the three key elements that have made Jamie’s Italian Budapest a go-to spot for many, whether for a quick lunch or a longer, wine-led dinner.
Old favourites return
To mark the anniversary, Jamie’s Italian introduces a limited-edition menu bringing back some of its most iconic dishes from the past years. If you’re in the mood to revisit old favourites, the “best of” selection is an easy choice, but it’s just as rewarding for those trying these dishes for the first time.

Taste and win!
The celebrations, however, go beyond the table. To mark its 10th anniversary, the restaurant is launching a large-scale giveaway, with a two-person trip to London as the main prize. Winners will enjoy a two-night stay in the city and take part in a cooking class for two, choosing the workshop themselves.
The campaign runs from 1 April to 22 May 2026, with the draw taking place on 29 May. Taking part is simple: guests need to visit the Jamie’s Italian restaurant in Buda Castle, spend at least HUF 20,000, and register their receipt.

Each visit counts as a new entry, meaning the more often you return, the better your chances of winning. Alongside the main prize, several additional rewards are also up for grabs: seven lucky participants will receive books personally signed by Jamie Oliver. It’s also worth noting that trying the anniversary menu is not a requirement to enter the giveaway – it’s an added experience rather than a condition.

The opening of Jamie’s Italian in Budapest is tied to the Zsidai Group, which brought the international brand to Buda Castle in 2016. At the time, it was one of the first Jamie Oliver restaurants in the region, marking an important milestone in Hungary’s hospitality scene – a collaboration between a global gastronomic brand and a strong local restaurant group. The concept has remained unchanged ever since: accessible, high-quality Italian cuisine built on strong ingredients and a sharing-friendly approach, all adapted to the Budapest setting.
