Rao’s is bringing its historic dining experience to a new environment for one night only.

The Italian restaurant, which is known for being one of the hardest reservations to get in New York, is recreating its unique dining atmosphere at the JW Marriott Essex House New York on April 23. The Dinner Rush pop-up brings “one of New York’s most iconic tables within reach” as anyone can buy a ticket, per a release shared with PEOPLE.

At the event, which is presented by Marriott Bonvoy and American Express, diners will be served signature dishes from Rao’s in “a table-for-table recreation of Rao’s legendary Harlem dining room,” the release said.

The Dinner Rush event will have two seatings, with each including a 90-minute, multi-course menu of the restaurant’s signature dishes.

“By recreating the intimacy, legacy recipes, and sense of exclusivity that define Rao’s, Dinner Rush offers rare access to an experience typically reserved for a select few,” it continued.

Rao’s was founded in 1896 as a small saloon that grew into the famous establishment it is today under Vincent Rao and his wife Anna Pellegrino, who took over in 1958 and turned it into a restaurant, per Rao’s website.

Anna is attributed with sharing her Southern Italian family recipes to create the restaurant’s menu.

The restaurant then started granting “table rights,” giving tables to customers who frequented the restaurant over generations, per the website.

“As a result, the Harlem location is believed to be not only the hardest reservation in New York, but perhaps the world,” it read.

The family-run business boasts a “unique atmosphere,” with a varied guest list and “storied juke box,” along with charming hosts.

Rao’s also has locations in hotels in Miami and St. Andrew’s, Scotland.

The tickets for the Dinner Rush event are priced at $300.

To get a chance to attend the exclusive event, potential guests can text “DINNER RUSH” to 917-540-2868 from April 8 to 10.

Those who sign up via text will receive a link on April 14 to purchase up to two tickets on a first-come first-served basis.

Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card Members will have early access to tickets on April 13, before sales open to the public online on April 14.
