Recently tried the new DrumStick Cake Pop flavor and was sadly disappointed

It was my latest attempt to chase the magic of the discontinued Blue Bunny birthday party mini cones. (2nd pic) I vividly remember the frosting in the middle being light and just *perfect*.

This one had a frosting core too, but the consistency was unpleasant and it froze kind of solid? The outer shell was delicious and I liked the sprinkles. The chocolate at the end was satisfying.

I was originally getting my fix with the Talenti confetti cookie layers, again discontinued. (3rd pic) The frosting layer and the sprinkles layer were so good 🥲

Currently the best replacement I’ve found is the Fat Boy birthday cake sandwich pops. (4th pic)

That probably means they aren’t long for this world, though. My faves always get discontinued. (Don’t talk to me about Edy’s French Silk 😭)
