woke up yesterday and thought to myself, "I need this rotisserie in my life" after two years of saying, "that’s a waste of $300." luckily my instinct in the morning was correct.

I picked up a La Belle Farms 5lb chicken, salted and air dried it in the fridge, and headed to my local Ace. Three hours later, rubbed it with a blend of cumin, coriander, rosemary, porcini powder, black pepper, and a little more salt and roasted at 350 with Fogo coals and fresh oak for 45 minutes, Pee-wee potatoes tossed with duck fat, salt, and pepper went in half way through.

If you can stomach the price, the rotisserie is worth it. The worst part is the cleanup on the rods and spikes, but the spikes did well in the dishwasher and the rod cleaned up pretty easily with soap and sponge

I think the cleanup is super simple. Probably the easiest grill accessory to clean that i own across any grill. Love the rotisserie.

  2. The rotisserie is great, I use it very often on my BGE 🔥🔥

I tried to save money buying an aftermarket one.  But unless your food is perfectly balanced and flops a little on each rotation.  Does this one do that or is it more consistent?

    Looks awesome by the way.

  4. I inherited a BGE with the house I bought. The prices on these accessories make the stuff for the pool look downright cheap. $300 for this kit isn’t even pretending it’s about anything except gouging the customer.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I heard music when I read “a blend of cumin, coriander, rosemary, porcini powder, black pepper, and a little more salt[…]”. Holy crap, I am going to try that!
