There’s some shuffling going on among eateries at the Greyline Station in Lexington.
Dova’s has moved into the spot inside Old North Bar that was previously occupied by Son of a Burger.
Meanwhile, Son of a Burger, which opened in Greyline in July 2025, plans to reopen at 833 Georgetown Street later this month, according to its Facebook page. The restaurant is known for its smashburgers, which can be ordered as a single, double or triple.
Dova’s owner DaQuan “Dova” Smith, said he and his fiancee, Kayla Bush, started Dova’s in 2018 and moved into the shared commissary kitchen at Southland Bagel Shop about a year and a half ago.
They made the move to Greyline on April 1, and Dova’s specializes in lamb chops, Smith said. They also offer shrimp, chicken fingers, lamb burgers, beef burgers and more.
Dova’s is open for dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays and for lunch and dinner Wednesdays through Sundays.

Bush said they decided to move to Greyline because they like the camaraderie among dining venues including Old North Bar, Wing KYng and Papa Pretzel.
“They all have this really great community where they all just support one another,” she said, adding that they also like the diversity of the foot traffic that comes through. “Greyline is a wonderful place.”
In other Greyline Station news, Chocolate Holler plans to close, though a date has not been set, the shop announced on Saturday.
