What’s on Your Table? | Ep. 20: Bashar’s Italian American Cuisine

DELAVAN, Ill. (WMBD) — For this week’s episode of What’s on Your Table? the crew took a trip to Delavan to try a local place that offers both Italian and American cuisine.

Bashar’s Italian American Cuisine, located at 410 Locust Street, has been owned and operated by Jeff Vaughn and Abbie Mefford for just more than two years.

Bashar’s is currently transforming its menu, allowing the crew to try items not yet on the menu, like the American Sampler, which consists of fried potato cheese balls, chicken strips and spinach artichoke dip with crustini.

For those who avoid gluten, there is also a wide selection of gluten-free options.

Alongside the food, they also offer mixed drinks that reflect the restaurant’s Italian theme.
