Aldi tapas range from £1 is perfect for ‘Spanish-style’ feast

With spring here and lighter evenings arriving, it could soon be time to think about dining outside. For fans of the al fresco season, Aldi is launching a new dining range inspired by the Mediterranean.

Having landed in stores on April 12, the new Kit Out Your Kitchen range features a selection of cookware and accessories designed for serving up a Spanish-style supper for friends and family. For £4.99 shoppers will find the six-piece Tapas Cookware set including three small, two medium, and one large dish.

It comes in three vibrant terracotta colourways with petrol, blue, and yellow interiors.

For the same price, Aldi’s Tapas Serving Set includes a two-tone olive oil jug, olive dish, and wine cooler.

For cooking and prep, Aldi’s Ceramic Kitchen Accessories (£4.49) include a pestle and mortar for grinding spices, a garlic grater and a salt pig complete with a small spoon.

The launch coincides with Aldi’s brand-new Specially Selected Mediterranean-inspired Hot Sharing Plates range.

Starting from £2.49, shoppers can bring a taste of Spain to their table with options including meatballs Albondigas, chargrilled chorizo and tortillas.

The food range will be in stores from April 29.

Aldi is also selling a £7.69 wine which it has described as having a “refreshing taste of the Mediterranean”.
