A new Mediterranean restaurant will have a prime location on red hot Knox Street.

Hailing from Phoenix, Théa Mediterranean Rooftop will open in early 2027 at 3333 Knox St., between the Katy Trail and Travis Street and across from restaurants Toulouse Cafe & Bar and Taverna. The two-story eatery comes from Sam Fox, the restaurateur behind The Henry, Flower Child, Culinary Dropout and Doughbird.

Théa will join the slew of restaurants and stores planned for a three-tower, mixed-use development on Knox Street along the bustling Katy Trail. The highly anticipated 1-million-square-foot project by BDT & MSD Partners, Trammell Crow Co., The Retail Connection and Gillon Property Group recently topped out construction and expects to deliver later this year. Théa will sit at the base of the nine-story, 150,000-square-foot office tower dubbed 3333 Knox.

The restaurant was named after the Greek goddess of light, a nod to its rooftop terrace set to take centerstage. Théa’s menu will feature pastas, grilled meats and shareable plates like an array of Mediterranean dips. Some sushi and flatbreads are also on tap. However, a well-designed rooftop experience is arguably rooted in a bubbly beverage menu and Théa’s spritz and rosé offerings will be part of a robust cocktail list.
