The operators of Dallas’ longtime Bugatti Ristorante announced they will open a similarly named spot, Trattoria Bugatti, in the northwest part of the city.
Trattoria Bugatti will be on West Northwest Highway, near Marsh Lane and Lemmon Avenue. It’s in the same area where Bugatti was for decades, before the restaurant closed in 2023 and relocated to Farmers Branch in late 2024.
The new restaurant is slated to open April 20, 2026 in partnership with the Odeh Restaurant Group. The project has the blessing of owner and namesake Michael Bugatti and his right-hand man Zee Aziz. Aziz is the company’s longtime maître d’, and some call him “Mr. Bugatti” because he welcomed guests for decades.
The two remain owners and operators of Bugatti Ristorante in Farmers Branch. They also have a restaurant and bar at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The Bugatti and Odeh teams met because they both operate food businesses at the airport.
The new Trattoria Bugatti is “a more modern expression of the brand,” according to a statement. And, it’s a return to Midway Hollow, a neighborhood that seemed to adore Bugatti’s.
The menu comes from executive chef Erin Willis, who Dallas diners might know from RM 12:20 Bistro, the Lake Highlands restaurant that closed in 2023. Entrées will include eggplant Parmesan, gnocchi Bolognese, pork Milanese, plus lunchtime options like sourdough pizzas and focaccia sandwiches.
“Trattoria Bugatti is about honoring the legacy of a Dallas institution while creating something that feels new, vibrant and welcoming for today’s diners,” Ashley Odeh, president and owner of Odeh Restaurant Group, said in a statement.
Trattoria Bugatti is expected to open at 3850 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, on April 20, 2026. Open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
