Oceania Sonata will debut an exclusive dining restaurant at sea, La Table pas Maitres Cuisiniers de France when she launches in 2027.
La Table for just 18 guests will offer a refined dining experience drawing on classic French techniques. La Table is the only restaurant at sea which has the approval of the Maitres Cuisiniers de France, an internationally revered institution dedicated to preserving the heritage of French gastronomy.
“It will be a true celebration of culinary heritage, mastery and modern luxury, in ways which are both meaningful and unmistakably Oceania Cruises,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Ocean Cruises.
The menu will feature Granny Smith apple and langoustine tartlets and escargot-stuffed Dover sole topped with rosace vegetables and a white wine sauce. Signature dishes will include spider crab potato topped with Sturia Oscietra caviar.
The introduction of La Table reaffirms Oceania Cruises’ mantra to serve the Finest Cuisine at Sea. The venue will also be used to host the Dom Perignon dining featuring a six-course tasting menu with three exceptional champagne vintages.
Oceania Sonata will also introduce Nikkei Kitchen offering contemporary cuisine drawing on Peruvian and Japanese influences.
Sonata’s other specialty restaurants include fine French venue, Jacques, pan-Asian Red Ginger, classic steakhouse Polo Grill and Italian Toscana.
