I've tried ferric phosphate (sluggo/ferramol), egg shells, surface composting, not using mole repellant and this year beer traps (out of desperation from the other things not working) but those fuckers are still very much here. Just gonna hope for some of these to pull through, always seem to get a few survivors.

Your offerings will not go unnoticed. All hail the slug god!

Hahaha, I love your optimism 🙂 Try putting some old coffee grinds around them. Its no guarantee, but it is thought that coffee grinds can help to deter slugs …… worth a go, and good luck with not feeding the slugs too much.

Wow – iron phosphate has been the only thing that works for me…..and I tried everything x10!

I also held off mulching until the heat sets in.

Have you tried beer? Slugs apparently fuggin love beer, so much they drown in it. Put a bowl of beer out, a bit away from your plants and just try it.

I planted sacrificial radishes for my nemesis…the flea beetle.

I had slugapalooza every year. Then I started mulching with straw. No slugs.

The slugs have eaten my first 4 strawberries of the season. Needless to say, I’m shook.
