La Table dining concept focuses on French cuisine
Oceania Cruises has introduced a new dining venue, La Table par Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, set to debut on its upcoming ship, Oceania Sonata.
The restaurant has been developed in collaboration with Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, an organization dedicated to promoting French culinary traditions. The partnership focuses on classic techniques alongside contemporary approaches to menu design.

La Table is designed as an intimate dining space with seating for 18 guests, operating on a reservation-only basis. The concept centres on structured tasting menus, with dishes developed in collaboration with chefs associated with the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France.
The menu will feature a range of French-inspired dishes, including seafood, seasonal ingredients, and plated courses that reflect traditional methods with modern presentation. The offering will evolve over time, with updates introduced by the culinary team.

The restaurant is led by Executive Culinary Directors Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, who oversee the cruise line’s broader dining programme.
In addition to La Table, the ship will include multiple dining venues covering a range of cuisines, forming part of the onboard experience. The introduction of the restaurant reflects a continued focus on curated dining concepts within cruise travel.
