This spring, Janu Mercato is offering a share-style Italian picnic on its ground-floor terrace, with the central piazza of Azabudai Hills as the backdrop.

Running March 13 through June 8, the “Picnic at Terrace” set is ¥10,800 all-in: seven courses moving from prosciutto with parmesan, mussels in white wine and panzanella through to grilled Oshu Iwai chicken from Iwate, with free-flow Peroni, Asahi and house Italian wine included.

Dogs are welcome on the terrace. Seats run to 120 minutes with drinks orders closing after 90.

Spring in Tokyo is brief, and Azabudai Hills’ greenery makes as good a case as any for making the most of it—whether with friends, family or a four-legged companion.

Janu Tokyo is a luxury lifestyle hotel at the heart of Azabudai Hills, home to multiple restaurants and bars.
