I've been following this sub for a little bit and your guys' love for canned fish is so infectious that I decided it was time to try it for myself. I decided to go with the smoked rainbow trout from Fishwife. I know Fishwife gets some hate around here for its price however I did not want to accidentally get a low quality can and ruin the experience for me.
I am blown away by how much I just enjoyed this snack. It was so tasty! The flavor was so smokey and delicious. The bowl has a little bit of vinegar for dipping and the breadsticks went surprisingly well with it. I am already looking forward to the next one I try. I think I might already be hooked after one can.

If you like trout try the smoked trout from trader Joe’s and the Mere smoke trout from Lidl

Try the bumblebee smoke coho salmon. Imo it very good and the tin is packed with large fillets.
Fangst smoked trout will knock your socks off.
I also particularly love ABC+ curry trout.
If you want to branch out, give a flavoured mackerel or ventresca a go.

Fishwife is ok but Fangst is waaay better in my opinion, especially for the smoked trout
Jose gourmet next, also fishwife gets a ton of hate but Jose gourmet is like the exact same price. Both are good
