Mediterranean-inspired dishes and classic cocktails are only some of what’s to offer

A popular South West restaurant has opened its second location on Whiteladies Road in Bristol.
Located at 52 Upper Belgrave Rd, the restaurant was previously home to Haus Bar and long-standing Indian restaurant Rajpoot. And on Thursday (April 16) the site reopened as a new restaurant, Crave.
Crave focuses on sharing plates and seafood with a Mediterranean influence. The new venue includes an outdoor terrace, restaurant space, and designated low-lit cocktail bar. Crave already has a restaurant in Exeter.
Founder Sameer Shetty said he’s excited to join Bristol’s well-established food scene. He added: “I always wanted the second restaurant we opened to be in Bristol – it’s such a strong food city and felt like the natural next step for us. Even before opening, we’ve had a lot of interest from people locally and online, so it feels like the best is yet to come.”
Several of the established team will be coming over from the Exeter site to work alongside the new staff, helping to maintain the approach that first put Crave on the map.
Restaurant manager Giorgia Muziani said, “The biggest thing people can expect is the atmosphere the team brings. We put everything into what we do, and that comes through in how people feel when they’re here. The food speaks for itself, but it’s the team that brings the whole experience together.”
