Description
Koulouria Thessalonikis are the city’s most iconic snack, known for their crispy crust with plenty of sesame seeds and fluffy interior. Whether you’re looking for a traditional bakery to enjoy them fresh, or you want to make them yourself, Thessaloniki offers top-notch options. Nonetheless, these bagels are extremely popular throughout all Greece. They are consumed as a morning snack with coffee.

In the recent years, many versions of the traditional recipe have been created. In that respect, there are thin and crispy bagels, more fluffy bagels, whole wheat or multigrain bagels, and also bagels filled with ham and cheese inside.

The most classic experience remains buying these bagels from street vendors.
