Basboseh

Recipe:

– 3 eggs
– 1 cup sugar
– lemon & orange zest
– a dash of orange blossom water
Whisk very well then add the following
– 1 cup all purpose flour
– 1 cup semolina
– 1 cup shredded coconut
– 1 cup yogurt
– 1 cup vegetable oil
– 1 tbsp baking powder

Pour into an 8×8 pan
Bake for 25-35 minutes
Then broil for 2-3 minutes

Syrup:
– 2 cup sugar
– 1 cup water
– squeeze of lemon
– a dash of orange blossom water

Let it simmer without whisking until all the sugar is dissolved

Pour the syrup after it cools down in top of the Basboseh & serve with some vanilla ice cram
