La Perle Des Dieux sardines with andaliman pepper. The flavor of the andaliman pepper is very citrusy and only a bit peppery. Not my favorite but still pretty good.

I didn’t know, first time I opened this can years ago, that Andaliman pepper (Zanthoxylum acanthopodium) was both citrusy and a numbing/tingling spice, like Sichuan pepper. Sardines with PopRocks! I’m a repeat customer—love it.
