Brown the sausage and set aside, in the same pan put diced onions and peppers and saute till softened and liquid is mostly gone.
in a 13×9 casserole, put sausage, peppers and onions, ham, and top with shredded cheese. poor egg mixture over and give a little shake wiggle to help ensure everything's covered. sprinkle green onions on top.
bake at 350f for approximately 40 to 50 minutes until the center reaches 160 f
this was all from the food bank. I'll get anywhere from 5 to 8 meals out of. I'm going to freeze any that I'm not going to eat within a couple days.

Awesome! Got to use what you have on hand!
I will have to try it.
this is the kind of recipe that should be pinned – simple, stretches ingredients far, and actually looks good
If you don’t have meat or don’t eat meat swap in some semi smashed white beans or tofu, both are cheap and filling, no saturated fats and add volume
Love a quiche
I love a good quiche. Actually just made one last night. Spinach, leeks, mushrooms, and goat cheese. Turned out great
Looks good. This is more of a casserole than a quiche.
I make this and also add oven roasted diced potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, frozen broccoli bits, zucchini, frozen sweetcorn etc. Whatever is to hand. It’s great to take for a packed lunch if you have a microwave or air fryer at work.
Literally made one today and I’m going to make the other one after a small break
Quiche number one was a request from my boyfriend. Third of a cup of browned hamburger meat, half a minced onion, minced yellow bell pepper, and cheddar cheese all seasoned with plenty of slap your mama
Three eggs, one cup of milk and a quarter cup of heavy cream because that’s what I had, some smoked paprika and onion powder. I meant to add like a teaspoon of yellow mustard, but I forgot.
He hates the taste of eggs and he said this was seasoned well enough that he didn’t taste them
The next quiche will be a ton of mushrooms that I got on clearance, sautéed frozen spinach, and finely minced onion, and some fancy goat cheese that we have a little bit left of, the last little knob of the cheddar cheese, and some Parmesan. And of course, all of the same egg filling.
Basically, all of my ingredients were things I got on mark down or on sale and I just buy a deep dish frozen piecrust and par bake.
It’s basically from a pioneer woman recipe, but I just riff as needed based on what I have
I eat everything, even food I don’t like the flavour of. But THAT. Looks great, I’d eat it too 😋
Damn you got me wanting quiche
If your foodbank gives baking mix or just add water cornbread, pouring that on the bottom and par baking before adding the quiche on top makes for an excellent quiche casserole…thing. I’ve made it many times! Thanks for sharing
