EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Downtown Evansville Improvement District is hosting a Spring Wine Walk on Friday, April 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Registration will take place at 318 Main Street, near Innovation Pointe. Guests can enjoy pours from Hymn & Herd Winery, Oliver Winery, TWO-EE’s Winery and River City Coffee + Goods.

Guests 21 and older can also purchase alcoholic beverages in official Downtown Evansville DORA branded cups. Mocktails and DORA beverages are available for purchase without event admission.

Alcohol is served to ages 21 and older, but all are welcome at the event. There will be shopping, live music, puppy cuddles provided by the Vanderburgh Humane Society and a spring-themed photo backdrop.

Five-dollar doodle portraits, custom bouquets from Emerald Design and charcuterie boxes will be available for purchase. Guests can also enjoy complimentary snacks, seating and five-minute massages at the F.C. Tucker Emge Hospitality tent on the 200 Block of Main Street.

Admission is $15 per person and includes two four-ounce pours, a commemorative tumbler and a passport. Admission increases to $25 per person at the event.

Extra drink tickets will be available for $5 each near the registration area, cash only. Guests will redeem their tickets at tents on the 200 and 300 blocks of Main Street.

Downtown stores and restaurants will be open for customers. Guests will visit the businesses on the passport and receive a stamp at each location.

One individual will be drawn from the stamped passports to receive a basket of Evansville merchandise and goodies from Downtown businesses. Two other attendees that find a golden wine cork inside a participating business will win a complimentary bottle of wine.

“We’re excited to kick-start our 2026 events and welcome hundreds of guests to our neighborhood for an evening of wine, shopping, and live entertainment,” said Adam Trinkel, executive director of DEID. “Sales are ahead of our last Spring Wine Walk, so we encourage guests to buy their admission now and save $10!”

The event will proceed rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, including thunderstorms or other hazardous conditions, updates will be shared on social media and with local media outlets.
