Milwaukee’s 3rd Street Market Hall has been named one of the best food halls in the country by USA TODAY 10BEST readers.
Every week, USA TODAY 10BEST invites a panel of industry experts to nominate their favorite points of interest and attractions across various categories. Editors vet nominations and select final nominees, which are voted on by the public to decide the final list.
The food hall’s “culinary delights featuring an eclectic mix of local vendors and international flavors” made it a favorite among readers, USA TODAY said in its rankings.
“Savor everything from Wisconsin-style local cheese specialties to gourmet tacos, burgers, delectable baked goods and even a tequila and bourbon bar,” the rankings said. “With so many food options under one roof, this lively, community-centric, spacious market also offers ample seating.”

3rd St. Market Hall ranked third on USA TODAY’s list. The top spot went to High Street Place in Boston and the runner-up was Southern Market in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
A new food vendor opened up in the market earlier this year. SapSap, a popular Laotian food truck, opened a location at the market in January, True Echo VR, which offers a variety of virtual reality games, also joined the hall.
In 2025, 3rd St. Market Hall was ranked second-best food hall in the country in USA TODAY’s rankings.
