A new restaurant blending American and French cuisine is set to open in Belgravia this spring.

Avi will launch at The Lowndes London luxury hotel in Belgravia this May, offering elevated versions of classic comfort food.

The team behind the Prince Arthur pub in Belgravia is responsible for bringing Avi to life.

After undergoing major refurbishment in 2025, the Prince Arthur pub became known for its exquisite Basque restaurant, setting the tone for Avi’s launch this spring.

The menu at Avi is designed for sharing and is divided into various categories like small plates, flatbreads and burgers, home-made pasta, fish, grill, and sides.

Expect premium twists on beloved classics, including New York Fried Chicken & Caviar, Caviar Fish and Chips, LA Brioche Noire Lobster Roll, and their signature Le Big Mac avec Truffle.

For pasta lovers, the menu features options such as Spicy Tomato Tequila Paccheri and Red Claw Lobster Linguine.

Seafood enthusiasts can choose from Carabineros with spicy butter, Mozambique Squid on peri-peri sauce, or Sea Bass Tom Yum.

From the grill, guests can enjoy different types of grilled beef, such as Cote de Boeuf, Fillet Steak with Smoked Bone Marrow, Australian Wagyu, or the Truffle Chicken Supreme.

The cocktail menu at Avi also promises a sense of luxury.

The drinks list features classic and contemporary cocktails, with a focus on bold flavour combinations.

The standout is The Tsar, featuring Belvedere Vodka topped with caviar, pickled onions, and an olive.

The restaurant’s interior leans into a French bistrot dining room aesthetic, featuring rustic wicker chairs, white tablecloths, and intimate low lighting.

Avi will seat 45 covers and also feature a cosy corner bar with rich, dark wooden panels.

Avi will also introduce a premium breakfast menu tailored to its hotel setting, open to both guests and the public.

This includes artisanal sourdough egg dishes and signature muffins with hollandaise, as well as options like lobster, trout gravadlax, and Ossietra caviar.

Joshua Conte, who has worked at notable restaurants such as The Boathouse in Henley, Heston Blumenthal’s The Crown at Bray, Chiltern Firehouse, and The Dorchester, will head the kitchen.

His background is rooted in classic French technique, complemented by Tuscan and Mediterranean influences.

Conte aims to create dishes that feel both familiar and refined, using premium ingredients.

The opening of Avi is seen as an exciting new addition to Belgravia’s restaurant scene, offering both locals and tourists a chance to enjoy nostalgic classics with luxury twists.

With its unique blend of modern American and French influences, Avi aims to provide a comforting yet sophisticated dining experience.

The Lowndes London luxury hotel, where Avi will be located, is known for its luxury offerings, and Avi is expected to complement this with its bold new restaurant concept.

The restaurant is set to open in May, and diners can look forward to an elevated dining experience in the heart of Belgravia.
