It appears popular Mediterranean-style restaurant CAVA will soon be coming to Washington Twp.
The Maryland-based company is seeking applicants for a general manager to run operations at a new location near Sam’s Club at 1111 Miamisburg Centerville Road, according to the company’s website.
Washington Twp. Development Director Ryan Lee said the township has not received any formal requests for the location.
CAVA has not yet responded to requests for more information.
Rumors of CAVA locating to the Washington Twp.-Centerville area have been circulating on community websites like Facebook since February, with commenters expressing excitement about the restaurant coming.
The position pays $70,000-$80,000 a year, according to CAVA’s job posting.
The Washington Twp. site would be the company’s second in southwest Ohio.
Its first opened March 13 in Oakley Station on Madison Road in Cincinnati.
CAVA plans to open more than 70 locations in 2026, according to the company, with active expansion in the Midwest.
The company, which operates more than 430 locations nationwide, plans to reach 1,000 restaurants by 2032.
CAVA is known for its customizable healthy salads, grain bowls, and pita wraps with options like harissa honey chicken and roasted white sweet potatoes, served in a fast and fresh format.
