Can't think of another sauce that makes black beans and rice into a culinary masterpiece with a few bloops!

Just wish the scorpion wasn’t twice as much as the others. Still a great value, though. They really need to switch to a different bottle cap, the metal ones get gross.

Back when I lived very near an international grocery, I think I survived on calypso sauce. Would literally buy 6 at a time and eat them on any hot food I made.

I haven’t heard of this brand, but they do look good. Are they only available in certain regions or stores

Calypso all the way.

The bottom one looks like it has a picture of Chris Farley in a small hat playing guitar. # fat guy in a little coat.

Where do i find these? Like south east asian markets?
PreperationOuch
I have never seen these in my life

The West Indian is among my favourites. If you’re in Canada, Superstore sells these and they’re definitely worth it. Super cheap too.
The caps get nasty though.

I’ve only had the Calypso and it’s great.

Few bloops? I pour it on like ketchup.

It’s been a long while but I remember loving it

The calypso and West Indies ones are pretty good but a bit more mild and semi sweet. The Flambeau is my favorite on by far

Flavor is good but the texture is a bit off putting. I strongly prefer Bertie’s.

The Trinidad Scorpion is my favorite sauce when I want that 🔥

I have yet to try the other ones, but I really enjoy the Calypso sauce. It’s got a fun fruity-but-not-sweet flavor that few other hot sauces have.
I’ll have to try the others some time. Honestly the problem is that the sauces come in such large bottles despite being just as flavorful as smaller batch hot sauces. I can’t justify the space they would all take up.

I’ve only tried the Calypso but it’s really tasty. How are the others?

The hot pepper and scorpion are really good.

Yes.. the hot pepper sauce is always in the current line-up.

Haven’t tried the flambou, but the other three are delicious
Mendonesiac
looked it up, and the salsa picante uses _pickled_ scotch bonnets and mustard… this sounds like a very unique sauce!

Wish they were available near me, every time I’ve tried them they have been awesome.

I’ve tried matouks on two separate occasions and each time when I opened the bottle there was mold. Their customer service is really awful as well. Sucks because Caribbean hot sauces are my favorite
