Just watched the K-Drama Bon Appétit Your Majesty, and have been wanting to make so much food from it. This one is a recreation of the first recipe shown – The Brown Butter Gochujang Bibimbap. Instead of using Sesame Oil, the dish is drizzled with some beurre noisette or brown butter.

I did plenty of vegetables: zucchini, radish, carrots, mushrooms, spinach, and bean sprouts. Every vegetable is prepared and cooked separately for maximum flavor. For the protein, I chopped up some chicken thighs and marinated them with dark soy, light soy, and sugar before sautéing them. I also fried an egg for the top (and yes, I know it's slightly overcooked – I forgot that they were cooking as I side quested). All the veggies are served around the rice and the whole plate is drizzled with a spicy gochujang sauce and brown butter.

Looks amazing! Are the veggies seasoned with sesame oil? I can’t imagine having bibimbap without sesame oil.
